Our facility is equipped with the Horiba gas analysis equipment for the measurement and calibration of emissions from gasoline, diesel, LPG and natural gas engines. Our state-of-the-art equipment means we can produce both high quality and extremely repeatable results. Our facility is able to carry out official UK Government VCA Witnessed Tests using approved drive cycle protocol, as well as custom designed tests tailored to our customer’s needs.
At AEL we have three cells each equipped with a dynamometer: One cell located in our Soak Area and ideal for mileaging and two further cells located in our Climate Controlled Zone. Within our Climate Controlled Zone, we have one cell equipped with Horiba Mexa 9000 Gas Analysers and capable of monitoring CO, CO2, THC, SOx and NOx and particulates.
We also have an Evo 60 electron microscope capable of analysing samples to very high levels of magnification.
